This Northeast Philadelphia project involved an emergency replacement of a leaking 50-gallon gas water heater. Because the existing tank was actively leaking, the goal was to complete the replacement quickly and restore dependable hot water service to the property.
Drain State removed the failed water heater and installed the replacement system with rigid copper supply piping. The installation also included a new gas shutoff so the water heater connection could be properly controlled and serviced.
The replacement was completed the same night, avoiding a prolonged loss of hot water for the customer. The complete installation took approximately 3.5 hours from start to finish.
The finished system provided the property with a new gas water heater, updated supply connections, and a properly installed shutoff. The installation was completed with Drain State's 5-Year Labor Warranty.
